To date the company has primarily been focused on providing their advanced solutions to the life sciences and pharmaceuticals markets.  The new facility will house Elemental’s engineering, sales, marketing, customer support and manufacturing groups in one location in the Alewife section of Cambridge. With Kendall Square nearly at capacity, Alewife is a rapidly growing life sciences hub in Cambridge with companies like FogPharma, Arbor Biotechnologies and Kintai Therapeutics moving to the area recently. “This is a great opportunity for Elemental Machines to upgrade our headquarters and bring all our groups closer together to improve team building and to maximize innovation,” said Sridhar Iyengar, CEO of Elemental Machines.  “Being in the heart of Cambridge allows us access to so many networking opportunities and keeps us connected to the Biotech and Pharmaceutical communities that comprise a large portion of our business,” states Robert Pemberton, VP of Commercial Operations. Elemental Machines makes sensors and software to optimize complex physical operations. Critical data is encoded everywhere in the physical world, but much of this data remains hidden from those who need it most. Unseen, unmeasured factors drive inefficiencies worth billions of dollars to the dominant industries in our economy, from yield loss in pharmaceutical production to machine down-time in advanced manufacturing to the epidemic of experimental irreproducibility in life sciences R&D. **About Elemental Machines** The Elemental Machines platform delivers powerful insights that help customers optimize processes and maximize utilization. The platform is transforming industries including pharma, synthetic biology, materials science, energy, clinical, agriculture and veterinary.
